Water Sampling of Causeway Slough

On January 29 a group of CERCA volunteers (Lisa Routh, Robert Flach, Barry Hetschko, Will Datene and Goetz) collected the water samples from the Causeway slough  sent to Maxxam Laboratories in Burnaby for the water quality test reported on earlier. The test results will guide our further rehabilitation action of the slough. It was a very wet affair on a very rainy day but  needed to get done as a prerequisite of one of our major 2016 estuary rehabilitation initiatives. The results will be available by early March. At the same time we took an elevation profile of the Causeway between the northern and southern part of the estuary transecting the slough.
