CERCA’s Microplastics Project, in collaboration with various scientific institutions, focuses on understanding the concentration and distribution of these pollutants. This report, led by Dr. Zeinab Zoveidadianpour, compares microplastic contamination between the northern and southern sections of the estuary, providing insights into local pollution sources and their environmental impact.
