CERCA partners with Island Savings

Financial Support to our "Cowichan Estuary Nature Trail-Open Classroom"

I am pleased to announce that CERCA has formally entered into a Cooperation and Partnership Agreement with Island Savings who also will be the main sponsor of our proposed Cowichan Estuary Nature Trail Project. As a starter Island Savings has donated $ 5K for the design of the billboards and interpretative signs to be placed along the trail. The design and text for the signs will be jointly developed by myself and Ellen Rooney from the Royal BC Museum who also did the design for our mobile estuary exhibit. The work will be started by early February.
