To Al Siebring , Alison Nicholson and CVRD Board :
As owner operator of Lifetimer Boats for 40 years I am adamantly opposed to the
rezoning of PHSub #4264 for two reasons.
Lifetimer employs 14 people in Marine Fabricating business and pays approximately $18000. A year in land taxes.
Why should a competitor pay almost no taxes and have unlimited ability to expand
in the CVRD? The tax loss to alone could be in the 100’s of thousands over the next few years.
Secondly the estuary is an extremely ecologically sensitive area.
Entrenched industry will definitely degrade this wonderful recourse.
NO NEW INDUSTRY ……No rezoning!!!
